The mission of the Foundation is to fund scientific research that will address the pressing needs of the HVAC&R fraternity. The world and technology are evolving at a rapid pace, and the HVAC&R industry needs to incorporate the newer practices that are being used. The research projects will aim to review the existing guidelines and standards with special emphasis on energy efficiency and climate change, thus creating new benchmarks especially for Indian conditions.
